Hehehehehehello. This is my review of getting a thin double eyelid, close to an inner double eyelid, with the buried-suture method. When I decided to have surgery, it was a bit hard to find swelling reviews for low double eyelid lines... so I'm writing this review deliberately in hopes it helps! I only had surgery on my right eye (left side in the photo), so I think it will be easy to compare the swelling.
Summary -> By day 8, I felt like I could go outside. The discomfort in daily life also got better from around day 8. There was enough swelling that people who already knew me would notice, but someone seeing me for the first time probably wouldn't (around this point, the stitched marks stood out relatively more than the swelling). I'm not the type whose body never swells, and because I took 3 swelling-reducing medicines recommended by a pharmacist on YouTube + had a low line + used the buried-suture method, the swelling seems relatively minimal. I heard the surgery usually takes 30 minutes if done on both eyes, but since it was one eye, it took 15 minutes. I'm currently at one month, and from the front it looks like there is no swelling, but from the side, although it's only something I notice, there is definitely still a little swelling. I think the line will go down more. From the beginning, they set the line lower than my natural double eyelid on the left.
Clinic review -> It is not a clinic that feels extremely attentive in every detail, but it has conscience and professionalism. I don't have particularly little flesh on my upper eyelids, but they said buried-suture was possible, and they also said surgery on just one side was possible, so that part was... good for me. (I thought they wouldn't do it.) Since it's a very simple surgery, that may be part of it, but... it doesn't really feel like an atmosphere where you sit down together and discuss things in great detail. It would be exactly right to say it feels like a busy person squeezing in time for a consultation haha The director has a YouTube channel, and since he seems highly specialized in eye surgery and speaks honestly, I trusted him and left it to him. In person, he somehow has more charisma than on YouTube (on YouTube, it feels like he films after finishing the day's schedule, when his energy is lower..) There weren't only parts I was satisfied with during the consultation or the overall surgery experience, but there was nothing unpleasant either.. They didn't recommend unnecessary cosmetic surgery... and there wasn't any cash discount that was probably for tax evasion purposes, so I liked that. For reference, it is 600,000 won for one side and 800,000 won for both sides.
