Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery>After<Day 3>After<Day 3>As you can see from my pre-op photos, even objectively, breast surgery was the kind of surgery that someone like me had no other option for. It was only a matter of timing… After living with stress for 20 years, once I had a baby, I felt like the time had finally come, so I immediately started looking into clinics. Honestly, I decided after going to only a few consultations. Just like the reviews said, Director G.Y.J. was kind and gave such a detailed, delicate consultation.. The consultation itself even became a comforting time for meㅠ During the consultation, I was told that anatomically, my rib cage and breast pocket were small, so a large size was not recommended, and I also felt that I would be satisfied enough as long as it looked nice when I wore clothes.
I didn’t have any particular implant in mind when I went, so I had surgery with the recommended Motiva implants: left 315 / right 315 cc, full type, transaxillary incision, dual-plane method.
[ Day of surgery ] Honestly, I wasn’t that scared. I think I was more scared when I had a C-section going in to give birth. When I woke up after surgery, my throat hurt and I was out of it, but I wondered, since it was a transaxillary incision, why don’t I feel pain? They said there had been no bleeding, and rather than the armpit area, I only saw bruising where the accessory breast tissue was removed, and my breasts weren’t swollen either. I thought maybe I had somehow won the painless-surgery lottery, but nope. I let my guard down and then wow.. when lying down and getting up, that pain from my C-section.... Wow.. from the evening it started getting hard. My breasts started swelling from then, the bandage felt so suffocatingㅠ I kept waking up at nightㅠ It felt like a rock was pressing down on me. On the first day, curses just came out haha. I regretted the surgery.
[ Second day ] I took the bus and then a taxi to go get the taping removed and hear the director’s opinion. I wondered, is it okay to move around like this the day after surgery? But I had experienced during my C-section that the more you move, the better your recovery is, so I made the effort to go. I went, had the bandage that had been wrapped around me loosened, and the tapes stuck to my armpits removed. Then I saw my breasts for the first time after surgery. First, it was so fascinating that something had been created from nothing, and after that, I started looking at the shape and asymmetry. As for the size, it was disappointing that because my rib cage is small and I barely have a muscle layer, I had no choice but to go small. Still, I thought that now in summer, even when wearing thick padding and a shirt, I won’t have to button it all the way up to my neck to hide myself, and I got a little teary.. Even so, compared with yesterday, it still felt more tight, uncomfortable, tingly, and like a rock was pressing down on me. It was fascinating and nice, but also irritating, just all mixed together.
[ Third day ] Compared with yesterday, the tight feeling has lessened, and I did some housework within a range that wasn’t too much. But I absolutely don’t think I can wash my hair myself. I washed my face and got dressed too. I still can’t freely lie on my side, and when I lie on my back and then get up, my breasts have this tingling feeling, which feels so unpleasantㅠ I guess I just have to wait for time to pass quickly.
After about a month, will it get better when sleeping or going about daily life??
