If you’re interested in lower eyelid fat repositioning or are about to have surgery, I really hope you read this once and make a choice you won’t regret.
First of all, as far as I know, the clinic where I had surgery has a huge number of promotional posts in communities and apps.
I can’t know whether they’re real reviews, ads, brokers, or company posts,
but if you decide on surgery after seeing an unsourced post and it goes well, that’s fortunate. But if side effects happen, that’s the most unfair thing..
You can’t go back. The fact is that what has been damaged can never be restored, no matter what cost you pay.
★ As someone who had the surgery, I really regretted choosing this clinic because I hadn’t seen a post like this.
Don’t regret it like I did. Even if you regret it, regretting after knowing and regretting without knowing are different. I hope there will never again be another victim like me.
----- I had surgery at Ix Plastic Surgery Clinic in Sinsa:
lower eyelid fat repositioning + nano fat grafting for dark circles + anterior cheek fat grafting.
※ Afterward, a really large number of side effects showed up?
▶ Sensation disappeared on half of my face. It seems like nerve damage. (tingling and numbness through my cheekbone, nose, under-eye area, and even lips) ▶ Scleral show (the lower eyelid is fixed and won’t come up, so my eyes are uneven, and when I smile, one eye doesn’t close completely) ▶ Dark circles (they got worse. People around me say as soon as they see me, “Why are your dark circles so bad?”..) ▶ The aegyo-sal boundary disappeared / symptoms of entropion are also visible
* They discarded the before/after surgery photos too, so they won’t let me check them. (Is this really a professional clinic?)
When they’re selling, they say they’re professional, that people are lining up to have surgery even without seeing the director. Never trust what the consultation manager says.
After these side effects developed, I requested a follow-up with the director. But they wouldn’t schedule a director follow-up?
(The story is long, but I’ll write only the facts.) They just kept telling me to wait, saying we had to watch it over time, coaxing and avoiding me while not scheduling a director follow-up.
After 8-9 months like that, I was finally able to see the director for a follow-up.
But the answers I heard at the follow-up were absurd and incomprehensible, so when I requested another follow-up together with my guardian,
★ ★they confidently gave false, untruthful guidance, saying that seeing the doctor with a guardian was a violation of medical law★ ★ I was so dumbfounded that I asked several times.
The coordinator team and the consultation manager all answered with that false guidance. (I have phone and KakaoTalk evidence.)
When I said let’s finish this with a full refund and an apology from the staff who gave the false guidance,
they said they would refund half? And when I told them to have the staff who gave false guidance apologize, they said the staff were young and didn’t know much, so they would handle it internally.
So I told them not to contact me in the future about future treatment, A/S, revision surgery, or refunds.
And then someone called a general manager? whom I had never seen at the clinic contacted me using an alias. It’s the first time I’ve seen a plastic surgery clinic use aliases.
In any case, the surgical result is one thing, but if I had known postoperative care would be like this, I would never have had the surgery.
And they said this is a clinic where there are no future director follow-ups. Everyone, know that before deciding on surgery.
As someone experiencing side effects, I’ll say just one thing.
“Side-effect reviews” are put under temporary measures and so on, so in reality it’s hard for consumers to see them, making it difficult to make the right choice.
Across all kinds of apps and communities, most of the posts are only successful cases.
A lot of the successful posts are also written by clinics, and broker recommendations are everywhere.
★ Think about it. There aren’t patients whose surgery went well who keep leaving review posts, comments, and managing them.
I hope people who get plastic surgery always look into everything, think it over a hundred times, and be careful.
Looking at the “side effects” tabs on apps and communities and reading “real reviews” will help. (Community-style review posts often include many promotional posts, so keep that in mind.)
I hope you recognize the risks of surgery to some extent and decide carefully. I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did.
What’s already damaged can never be reversed. The clinic won’t take responsibility either. That’s a fact. There are many clinics that say they’ll do this and that, then turn their backs.
