Before<before surgery>Before<right after surgery>Before<day 3>I had surgery on Thursday, and it’s finally Sunday ㅠ Yesterday I washed my hair, went to the hospital, got my mouth disinfected and my scalp disinfected, had a CT scan, and came back. The director said my forehead line was set well, so I felt good, but as I was going down in the elevator, I was thinking, “Why didn’t he say my face was set well too…?” ㅋㅋㅋㅋ For now, the swelling is so much that everything feels worrying ㅋㅋㅋ
Today, other than coughing, phlegm, and a runny nose, my condition is good, but I’m coughing so much that I wonder if it’s a cold ㅠ I’m worried, what if the bones break into pieces again while I’m coughingㅠ
For now, I had pain in my jaw, like throbbing, until the day after surgery, and today there’s no pain from the facial contouring or forehead itself. Just discomfort and swelling? Since I’m swollen and my eyes don’t close well, I can’t really sleep well
The swelling was at its worst yesterday, and today it has moved down a little, so the feeling like my eyes were about to burst has gotten better
For care, I’ve been eating castella soaked in milk and porridge, and breaking Ace crackers into chocolate milk and soaking them in it. I’m eating fairly okay. Oh, and I wore the compression band on the first day, but they said I didn’t really have to, so I’m not wearing it. For my sideburn area too, they just told me to wash my face, dry it well, and apply ointment, so I’m doing that. It probably differs by case, but I also have tape allergies, so this is really great ㅠ
They said I could come every day for the swelling laser treatment, but I’m not confident about a two-hour round trip, so I’m planning to do it together with my next appointment while I’m there
For now, the swelling is really bad, but when I looked in the mirror, I wondered if my chin was too small, you know? But when I compared it with my before-surgery photos, the length of my lower jaw hasn’t changed much, maybe just a little shorter..? .(I have a scar under my chin, so it was easy to compare) The width on both sides of my jaw decreased + the swelling is severe on my forehead and cheeks, so I guess my chin looks a bit small. I think it’ll be okay once the swelling goes down!
And I had been worried about the chin tip being advanced, but it doesn’t really look like a protruding lower jaw or anything. Maybe because it was advanced only a little, when I looked in the mirror right after surgery, it actually looked more defined and nice
And I haven’t written the hospital name on purpose yet because my swelling hasn’t gone downㅠ The line will only show after a month or two, so if I like it then, I’ll write a review here..
