I called it a third revision rhinoplasty because the first clinic opened my nose once more for aftercare.. Dorsal hump + long nose + severely asymmetrical face + uneven nostrils After two failures at the first clinic, my nose became a human-looking nose at the second clinic, but as they say, people look different before and after going into the bathroom. There was no problem with the nose itself, but my nostrils showed a lot, and because my skin was thin, it was closer to a pressed-down nose. In the order of the places I visited
1. Coviju - The doctor had tremendous confidence. I really listened to the consultation as if I were mesmerized, and he pointed out what the problems were. He even pointed out parts I had never thought of. I went for the consultation in the morning and was seen right away. He said my nose shape could be improved, and that the visible nostrils could also be lowered enough. 3-year aftercare. I gave up because I had a strong aversion to autologous costal cartilage.. If not for that, I would have done it here. He precisely pointed out the contradictions in the nose shape I wanted and even told me alternatives. Thanks to the director, I established my standards for nose surgery.
2. The Door - I went because a close older friend said their designs were pretty. Director ㅇㅈㅎ. He would make it look glamorous. Since I wanted a glamorous line, I wanted to do it here. They said they would create a straight-to-slightly-curved line using artificial dermis + donated costal cartilage. The price was good, it was the glamorous line I wanted (my dream noseㅜㅜ), the aftercare period was long, and the consultant was kind, so everything was really good, but the director had a nuance of, “You came without even knowing this?”ㅜㅜ...
3. Siwoo - What I’m really grateful for is that I had been overseas and returned to Korea for rhinoplasty, so I had to make an appointment urgently. The consultant, even though nose consultations usually take two months to schedule, took my situation into account and arranged for me to have a consultation at the very end after evening hours. Thank you once again. The director gave me several possible options. It seemed like he would answer until I had no questions left during the consultation, but since he had already understood my needs accurately, I didn’t really have many questions. He clearly told me what was possible and what was not. The cost was the highest, and there were additional charges depending on the option. The consultant was truly professional. They only operate on two patients per day. I liked that they said they would care for me from beginning to end. In fact, they were caring for patients even late at night.
4. K Plus - Dr. ㄱㅅㅇ. He told me the limitations of my nose and recommended a procedure that other clinics would absolutely find difficult to suggest. He was really completely upfront and said he did not recommend surgery except for shape improvement. He was the only one who examined me by palpation without a CT scan, and I felt that experience and reputation really cannot be ignored. I honestly did not want to take the risk of opening the nose, so it was really unexpected that he mentioned a procedure. They say he often sends people away too. He spent the most time on the doctor consultation. It was a really, really tempting suggestion, but my desire to change my facial image was stronger, so I ultimately gave up.
5. Naturalism - Director ㄱㄷㅈ. There were a lot of people, so I had to wait a bit, and I think the CT scan also took a long time? When I went into the consultation, he explained while looking through the CT images one by one. (Guardians are not allowed in.) Like other reviews said, he really understood the patient’s needs accurately. He said this could be complemented by doing it this way. But he honestly told me about the things that were not possible. I met the consultant, then the director, then the consultant again. The consultant gave me the estimate right away without price negotiation. Since it was about the materials, I accepted it right away.
Writing this after having the consultation today, getting same-day surgery right away, and coming home... I won’t reply to people who didn’t read the post; this is peak spoon-feeding. Regarding revision surgery, the directors were really sincere and clearly pointed out what could and could not be improved. The cost was between 8 million and 11.2 million KRW. No clinic was unfriendly. Please let this nose surgery be my last ㅠㅠ
