My nose is over 10 years post-op, and a few months ago it suddenly started showing an inflammatory reaction, so I went around to hospitals to get the silicone removed. I visited two of the top three places in Apgujeong.
ㅍㄹㅁ The director was gentle and seemed confident, and said he could shape the feel of the nasal tip with cartilage repositioning alone, without a separate revision. He said I could go back to my old nose, but he was so confident that it actually felt scarier? Still, he said it looked like I was in a situation where no additional manipulation was needed, so the silicone could be removed quickly.
It was a shame and made me anxious that there were no photos. He said it would become an upturned piggy nose.
ㅅㅅㅇ He said the nose could become upturned, so I felt devastated ㅠ He said I would need nasal tip revision surgery, but that they would have to use septal cartilage, and since I just want to stop putting anything in, it was distressing...
But since it sounded more realistic, I trusted it a bit more. Still, having surgery again feels burdensome, so I think I need to think about it ㅠ Since it’s a revision case, making a piggy nose is difficult, and the direction would be removing only the silicone.
I’m so distressed about what to do, but I’m still planning to visit the last of the top three.
