It’s already entering the 3rd month since I had lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty at the clinic.
I had been considering revision lateral/lower canthoplasty, then saw a YouTuber’s review and went right away. The before-and-after change was dramatic, and even after several years, it hadn’t reattached and was still maintained, so I decided immediately.
My eyes are usually short horizontally, and I had lateral/lower canthoplasty once before, but after a few years my eyes lifted back up, so I always had to suffer through Photoshop, lowering the white part at the outer corners of my eyes. Maybe that’s why I didn’t even take photos. Anyway, after that I scheduled it right away and visited the hospital, had a consultation with Director Song Hoon, and because I have facial asymmetry, he explained well how the surgery should be done. From the center reference point of my face, my right side was higher than my left, so he matched both sides as symmetrically as possible and lowered my eyes exactly like the Photoshop effect I used to make. I think that was the best part lol Everyone I met after surgery said my eyes looked bigger impression-wise too, and that I looked gentler than before. I heard that a lot, so I’m satisfied. People here with a fierce-looking impression will really relate. And my makeup time has noticeably gotten shorter. Before, because of my upturned outer eye corners, I drew the under-eye line, and after that I filled in the triangular zone completely to hide my small, narrow-looking eyes, but now I barely need to fill in the under-eye line? There’s almost no discomfort in daily life, and things have improved, so I’m really feeling that even just lateral/lower canthoplasty can change this many things!
