If you are interested in under-eye fat repositioning or are considering surgery, I hope you read this at least once and make a choice you won’t regret.
First of all, the hospital where I had surgery had a lot of promotional posts in a community. I don’t know whether they were real, promotional, brokers, or the company itself, but if you get fooled by those posts, have surgery, and then get side effects, there is no answer. You cannot go back. The fact is that once something is damaged, no matter what cost you pay, it can never be restored.
★ As someone who has had the surgery, I really regret that I chose a hospital like this because I had not seen even one post like this. Don’t regret it like I did. Even if you end up regretting it, regretting after knowing and regretting because you didn’t know are different. I hope there will never again be another victim like me.

I had under-eye fat repositioning + nano fat grafting for dark circles + anterior cheek grafting at a plastic surgery clinic in Sinsa. Afterward, a lot of side effects appeared.
- Sensation disappeared on half of my face. It seems like nerve damage (tingling and numbness from the cheekbone, nose, under-eye area, all the way to the lips) - Scleral show (the lower eyelid is fixed and won’t rise, so my eyes are uneven, and when I smile, one eye does not close completely) - Dark circles (they got worse. People around me say as soon as they see me, “What’s with your dark circles?” lol) - The aegyo-sal boundary disappeared / symptoms of entropion also appear
* They discarded my pre-/post-op photos, so they won’t let me check them (is this really a professional hospital?) When they are selling, they say they are professional, and that people are lined up to get surgery even without seeing the director. Do not ever believe what the consultant says.
After these side effects occurred, I requested a follow-up with the director. But they would not schedule a follow-up with the director. (It’s a long story, so I’ll only write the facts.) They only kept telling me to wait, saying we had to watch it over time, persuading me and avoiding the issue, and they did not schedule a follow-up with the director.
After 8-9 months, I was finally able to see the director for a follow-up. But the answers I heard at the follow-up were absurd and impossible to understand, so when I requested another follow-up together with my guardian, ★ they confidently gave false information, saying that having a follow-up with a guardian is a violation of the Medical Service Act. I was so dumbfounded that I asked several times lol. I even thought, are they trying to play a joke on me? The coordinator team and the consultant all gave that same false answer (I have evidence from phone calls and KakaoTalk).
They said they would refund half? And when I told them the staff who gave false information should apologize, they said the staff were young and didn’t know, so they would handle it internally. So I told them not to contact me again about future treatment, A/S, revision surgery, or refund. Then someone called the general manager? whom I had never seen at the hospital contacted me using an alias. It was my first time seeing a plastic surgery clinic use aliases.
In any case, the surgical result is one thing, but if I had known the aftercare would be like this, I would never have had surgery there. And they say there will be no future follow-ups with the director at that hospital. Everyone, know this before deciding on surgery.
As someone experiencing side effects, I’ll say just one thing.
“Side effect reviews” often end up being temporarily blocked, so in reality they are difficult for consumers to see, which makes it hard to make the right choice. Most posts on all kinds of apps and communities are only successful cases. Many of those successful posts are also written by hospitals or recommended by brokers. ★ Think about it. If your surgery went well, patients don’t go around writing reviews and leaving comments.
People who are always considering plastic surgery should look into everything, think it over a hundred times, and be careful. It will help to look at the side effect tabs on plastic surgery apps and communities for “real reviews.” I hope you recognize the risks of surgery to some extent and decide carefully. Once something is already damaged, it can never be reversed. And the hospital will not take responsibility either. This is the fact.
