Review of square jaw Botox + contouring injections

I had always been unhappy with my broad-looking face, and after being brainwashed by subway ads, I walked into this clinic as if I were possessed.

Maybe because it advertises a lot, there were a ton of people in the waiting room, and there were also a lot of consultation staff. The consultation staff were so pretty that I went into the consultation expecting that I’d become that pretty too if I got the injections.

They pulled my forehead back with a hairband and took photos from five or six angles. At that point, I realized the reality that even if I got the injections, it would be hard to become like the consultation staff.

But I couldn’t just go home, so I continued the consultation, hoping to become even just slightly prettier.

The area was the square jaw, and they checked whether the muscle in the square jaw area popped out when I clenched my teeth.

Quite a lot of muscle was palpable, and they said square jaw Botox seemed likely to be effective, so I went ahead with Botox. There was a discounted package combining V-line contouring injections, so out of a tiny bit of greed, I got the contouring injections together too.

They disinfected the injection areas, and while they were rubbing the injection sites with some strange cooling roller-like thing, the doctor came in.

The doctor was also extremely handsome, so I was a bit flustered. It felt like shabby little me had dared to intrude into a sacred place of beautiful men and women.

The injections seemed to take only a few minutes. Maybe the needle was very thin, because aside from a slightly unpleasant feeling, there was no pain at all.

Since I had quite a lot of muscle, I got them regularly about 3 times, and from around 3 months, people around me told me my jawline looked different. I think the effect lasted close to 1 year.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from the contouring injections, but it was interesting that my anterior chin line looked more refined.

Not long after that, COVID broke out, so I didn’t get any additional injections. But now that mask restrictions have been lifted and I’m walking around without a mask, I can definitely tell there’s a difference between when I had the injections and when I didn’t..

For people with a lot of muscle where the square jaw area under the ears bulges out when you clench your teeth, I think square jaw Botox will be effective.
