<Expected before/after> I went for a revision rhinoplasty consultation today, and they recommended columella setback surgery. But during my first surgery, they removed septal cartilage and used it to build a support strut, so I feel like if they touch the septum, my nose could get ruined. Is that right..? Looking at the surgical example photos, it seems like they remove the septum like that, but I feel like I probably don’t have septal cartilage in that area anymore..?
If anyone has had columella setback surgery, please let me knowㅠㅠ Also, if I get setback surgery, will the columella look blunt from the front? It’s already blunt enough now, so I hope it doesn’t end up like that..
