Revision eye surgery: incision + ptosis correction + lateral and lower canthoplasty (this is optional)
Focused on improving sausage-like eyes, semi-out line X (If doing semi-out, there would be no improvement of the existing scar. If doing it, it would have to be done with a two-line excision method, but that is completely impossible / My skin is thick, so it can't be done) Lowering the line + have to keep the current line as is, and scar improvement would be only slight / Currently my eyes look triangular because the previous hospital set the front line low and the back much higher, making them look like sausage eyes. The method would be to raise the line at the inner corner of the eye. He said it would be much clearer and more natural than now. If the main focus is scar removal, it would have to be an inline double eyelid (hidden double eyelid), but he said there is no need for that. Because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, ptosis correction needs to be included slightly // Lateral and lower canthoplasty is optional, and even if I do it, there isn't much space. The previous hospital did a partial incision 7-8 years ago, but he said it was not a partial incision.. He said the whole front was cut and a lot of muscle had been removed. (Did I.. get sca mmed...? What?)
I'm already stressed because I look a bit fierce now, so I asked whether doing ptosis correction could make it worse. He said the cold and fierce impression would remain, but my eyes would look much more defined and clean. Doing it would not make me look fiercer. He warmly said it would be okay, it would go well, and if I do it, he would do his best, which I liked. (I had already expected this after reading reviews, but I think he was even softer-spoken than expected.)
Consultation with the consultant: We talked about the price, aftercare, etc., and I asked to see photos of similar eye cases, so we looked at them together. I had been worried after seeing a review saying there was some scarring? But it was better than I had thought????? The incision line was neat.
Sedation anesthesia for about 1 minute + local anesthesia Surgical method where I talk with the director, close and open my eyes, and the line is checked during surgery. There is CCTV.
Aftercare: stem cell ampoule, swelling laser, injections. They said if I come often, they'll do it as often as I come.
Revision eye surgery (incision + ptosis correction) 3.8 million KRW / lateral and lower canthoplasty 1.4 million KRW ㄴ Review discounts for 3, 6, and 9 times (Was it writing reviews in any 3 places?) were applied. Originally, um.. I don't remember the price, but I think the eyes alone were around 5 million?
Same-day booking discount was about -200,000 KRW (I didn't book that day. The reason is that my surgery date is still over a month? away.. Even if I think about it more and decide, I don't feel the 200,000 KRW would be a waste.)
What I'm curious about is, is lateral and lower canthoplasty originally that expensive? It's not even revision surgery??? Maybe I should do the revision eye surgery and canthoplasty separately, with the canthoplasty at a hospital that's good at it ㅜ Honestly, I didn't look into their canthoplasty at all. Since it's not a major surgery, I was thinking of just doing it together at the double eyelid surgery place.. I'm still debating ~.~ Please give me advice + I'm planning to post all my in-person consultation reviews..! This is still just one place, so I'll visit them all and think it over!
