It was originally 5 sessions, but there was no improvement, so I received a few more retouch sessions. There was temporary improvement, but as the threads dissolved and the swelling went down, it felt like it was returning to its original state (1-2 weeks). I received the procedure over almost more than a year, but it did not fully improve. They said there would be no side effects at all, but I developed scarring. The procedure cost was as much as, or more than, revision surgery..... I am looking into surgery.
There seem to be people who say it works, but there also seem to be many cases similar to mine.
For those considering a procedure because you are afraid of surgery, surgery will probably be more certain and faster. I chose the procedure because I thought I would not be able to go about daily life for a month after surgery because of swelling or bruising, but with surgery, major swelling and bruising go down in 1 week, or 2 weeks at most, and daily life is possible. In that respect, depending on the condition of the individual nose, this procedure may require multiple sessions, and each time you receive it, you swell and bruise for a week. I feel that even with just 2 sessions, daily life becomes impossible for longer than with surgery.
