I went to IQ first and 1mm later. The way they ask whether I’ve visited any other places... I wondered if they were trying to match the price. The price was the same on the condition that I provide eye model photos. The two-line incision release surgical method was also the same: lowering the line as much as possible naturally, giving an inner double eyelid / monolid feel. Both directors said the prognosis would be good, that it was definitely worth trying, and they showed the same confidence. Both were the same in that if I wanted surgery, I’d need to book about 1 month later.
1mm has 1 year of AS / IQ has 2 years of AS. 1mm recommended maintaining my eye size, but the vibe was that they would match everything to what I wanted. Director ㄷㅇㄹ said he doesn’t do surgeries that he thinks will turn out badly, and that my eyes look sleepy now so he wants to operate on them. He had a pretty straightforward, masculine personality. There were about 10 people, the clinic was using 3 floors, and the wait time was quite long. The ratio was about 8 women to 2 men. There was a male consultation manager.
IQ had a consultation fee of 10,000 won. The eye size would be a bit smaller and more natural. The director seemed calm and serious. Maybe because they manage consultation times strictly, there were only one or two people waiting, and it seemed like they schedule appointments by time slot. It may also be because it’s a clinic with one director.
Both had the same surgical method, and I think it’ll be better than now no matter where I do it, so I’m debating. But I’m trying to choose the place with as few side effects as possible.
