It was my first surgery, so I didn’t really know how to research properly, and I ended up deciding to have surgery right away at the first place I consulted.
I think I was honestly really lucky and had the surgery at a decent hospital with a decent doctor.. haha
Back then, I strongly emphasized only two things: that I didn’t want sausage eyes, and that I wanted my original inner double eyelids to be made naturally into an in-out line. So I didn’t get greedy with the line height, and I didn’t add any unnecessary aesthetic options at all.
So everyone says it turned out really natural, and when I tell people I had double eyelid surgery, they’re extremely surprised. Maybe because it was a surgery where I didn’t get greedy, I do have some regrets here and there.. like not removing even a bit of fat from my eyes.. or not emphasizing that I wanted them to correct my asymmetrical eyes.. ㅜ
So I’m not dissatisfied with my eyes now, but depending on the situation, I’m wondering whether I should get revision surgery
