S&U SMILE LASIK Surgery Review

My eyesight originally wasn’t that bad, but my myopia seemed severe and it was so inconvenient, so while I was looking into having surgery, LASIK felt a lot like shaving down the cornea and then just placing something on top of the eye, and LASEK felt too painful and like it would interfere with daily life for a long time, so I chose SMILE LASEK. While looking for hospitals famous for SMILE LASEK, I read many reviews of well-known hospitals in Gangnam and narrowed it down to two places for consultations. The first hospital I consulted at before S&U felt too much like a factory-style clinic, and I couldn’t choose the doctor; the system randomly assigned one in the operating room. So I felt uneasy, and since this is a surgery you only do once, I thought I should look into it properly again before having surgery, so I searched for another hospital. That second place was S&U Eye Clinic, where I could choose the doctor myself, and it was one of the hospitals with the most SMILE LASEK reviews. So I trusted them, and on the day of the consultation, I went ahead with surgery right away. The surgery itself took less than 20 minutes, but including the consultation and waiting time, I think it took about 3 hours? Before the surgery I wasn’t nervous, but once I lay down in the operating room, I got nervous. Looking at the green dot, which I had practiced beforehand, wasn’t difficult. But the device that fixes the eye so you can’t close it was so uncomfortable that I kept trying to force my eye shut, so my eye hurt so much and it was exhaustingㅜ But the surgery ended safely, and it doesn’t hurt immediately after surgery. It starts hurting about two or three hours after the surgery, and if you endure the pain for just about two or three hours, it doesn’t hurt anymore. It has been about a month now, and things far away look clear, but things up close still look blurry. Because my eyesight originally wasn’t bad and I didn’t wear glasses or contact lenses, they told me this kind of symptom could last up to two or three months. The myopia, which was the reason for the surgery, has been completely resolved, so I’m very satisfied. I think both eyes come out to 1.0. If you’re still debating surgery, I think it’s right to go somewhere with many surgery reviews. I’m so satisfied that I’m strongly recommending it to people around me.
