Everyone around me was getting double eyelid surgery, and I also didn’t like how small my eyes were, so I got the surgery without really shopping around much. Back then I hadn’t looked into anything, and they said they would do sedation anesthesia and then local anesthesia, so I just lay down in the operating room. Then the nurse gave me the anesthesia injection. I found out only recently that that’s illegal ㅠ And the sedation anesthesia didn’t work, and I felt everything about the local anesthesia except the feeling of the skin being cut. I felt every single thing, the cauterizing, the ptosis correction, the stitching, and it hurt so, so much. To the point I wanted to run out in the middle ㅠ… Maybe because I didn’t look into it enough, the double eyelid surgery completely failed, and about 4 years have passed, but now I’m looking into revision eye surgery. I really hope you shop around a lot, look into things properly, and then get surgery!
