Post-care is forgivable: Giraffe breast surgery part 3 (9-month TMI real review…

I had surgery around August of last year, and recently I went to the hospital because my ribs hurt lol. The reason was... last time, I slipped in the bathroom and got a hairline crack in a rib, so I was worried about the implants too, so I went to the hospital and got checked. Thankfully, nothing was wrongㅎㅋ It’s just a small TMI, but since it came to mind, I came to write a review;

This is my third review, and what everyone always asks is, “Does it show a lot..?” Since people ask that, I’ll tell you.. When you lie down, it shows. That can’t be helped; but it’s not like the bowl-like roundness you might imagine, it’s more of a slightly sagging roundness. And when I’m sitting or standing, if you touch them, you really can’t tell. Even I find it fascinating..

And if you’re doing the transaxillary incision, underarm hair removal.. make sure you do it well before you go.. Genetically, I only grow a few strands of underarm hair, so I always pluck and tidy them, but on the day of surgery I didn’t clean it up properly, and one underarm hair got weirdly caught in the suture line;; So I thought a stitch hadn’t been removed properly and kept asking the hospital to remove the remaining stitch, but it turned out one strand of my underarm hair.. was caught there. Embarrassing play; I was so embarrassed and immediately got laser hair removal..

And accessory breast removal!!! Unless your accessory breast is really severe, don’t force yourself to remove it. I have a little accessory breast too, so I asked the doctor during surgery. He said I didn’t need it, and honestly I still wanted to do it; but I just had the surgery without doing it.. I kept feeling regret, like ah, I should’ve done it.. ; But once the swelling went down and the breast line settled to some extent, having a little accessory breast actually makes it not look like I have big bowls awkwardly attached when I raise my arms ㅜ ㅜ!! It’s actually natural. This is just my personal thought, so only use it as reference..

What else.. ah, during my period, my breasts feel like they’re going to burst because they get so firm. It feels like I could play ball with my breasts. But once my period ends, they become soft and squishy again.

And everyone knows what’s better than when I was an A cup, but not having to wear padding. No matter what clothes I wear, the feel is different, yeah.

And for a few months after surgery, they were almost uneven breasts. I think it was because of swelling. I worried a lot too, so I searched every day and kept feeling anxious, wondering if the surgery had gone wrong, but as time passed, subtly, the swelling went down and they became the same size.. fascinating.

Oh, and after surgery, when you press the side ribs, it makes gurgling sounds and strange noises like there are air bubbles, but they say that’s normal.. I was worried about this too, so I kept calling the hospital and kept posting in this community lol, that’s how I was.

And I kept going to the hospital because I thought the pain-control injection wasn’t coming out. But it was coming out.. I’m a big complainer about pain, so it really hurt a lot, but if you asked me to do it again, I would.. no regretsㅋ

Oh right, and I didn’t know this, but after breast surgery it’s good to consistently exercise your back and shoulders. My posture got worseㅠㅠ Maybe because I suddenly have breasts I didn’t have before, my shoulders kept rolling inward and my back bent, so I started exercising. A friend who had surgery said she feels it too. Because the front gets heavier, posture gets worse. I’m also stretching really often haha.

_______________________________________ And adding) because of a comment someone left, this is an extra tip: I started light cardio from around 2 months? 3 months?? and lifting weights from around 4 months? I think. Tennis..? I think I started that from month 4 too. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but anyway, after surgery, when you have a consultation with the doctor, they tell you everything. If you ask, “I do this exercise, when can I start?” they’ll tell you. I’m crazy about tennis, so I asked about that~~ Now that I’m 9 months out, my memory is a bit fuzzy. _______________________________________

And people still leave lots of comments on the review I wrote last year, so I get tons of notifications on KakaoTalk.. hahaha I’m happy it helps haha. And a lot of people ask about post-care for breast surgery at Giraffe, but personally it was hard because the waiting time was very long. If you do it at Giraffe, I recommend avoiding weekends when scheduling post-careㅠ......as someone with experience... Still, the breasts are good..
