Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

A double-eyelid surgery consultation review I’m writing to organize my thoughts (ㄴㅅㅎ, ㅇㅎㅅ, ㅇㅂㅅ)

I went for consultations for the first time today! I also did a lot of online research in this community, so I’ll ramble a bit here in case it helps First, my case is that one side from my primary surgery came undone, so I’m trying to get revision surgery I’d been living with it more or less satisfied, but it was slightly uneven And this is just my thought, but I think the line was set a bit high for the size of my eyes, so it feels hard to open my eyes It’s okay now, but after surgery the swelling took forever to go down, so I lived with sausage eyes for a while, which is why I want to lower the line At all three places, they said I didn’t need canthoplasty and diagnosed me with (partial) incision + ptosis correction. Maybe because it came undone once? The eyes I want are a thin in-out line, so I mainly went to consultations at places known for natural results

ㄴㅅㅎ / Director ㄱㄷㅎ -The clinic was big, and I went earlier than my reservation time, but there was almost no wait -Consultation with the director: If I want to lower the line, go with incision, and the line on the side that hasn’t come undone is okay, so if I want to keep it as is, partial incision is also possible The director recommended keeping the line as it is, saying my eyes will droop with age anyway I didn’t feel like I was given a precise diagnosis of my eyes, but the line they made for me looked pretty They said my case wasn’t particularly difficult -Consultation with the consultant: Kind, but there was a slight push for a deposit; no consultation fee -Estimated surgery time: 30 minutes -Price: Since it was partial incision, it was the cheapest -Aftercare: 3-year AS, I forgot whether they had swelling laser or not haha

ㅇㅎㅅ / Private clinic -The clinic was small, and likewise there was no wait -Consultation with the director: When I said I wanted to lower the line, they looked at my face and said lowering it would suit my overall image better. Oh.. At other clinics they only asked what style I wanted, but this was the first time someone checked whether it harmonized(?) with my face They made the line many times, and said structurally I have protruding eyes, so they wouldn’t do excessive ptosis correction, and that the surgical method would be to incise the skin and merge the upper line with the lower line They seemed confident and said it would come out pretty if I had surgery -Consultation with the consultant: They were kind and showed me before-and-after photos of cases similar to mine who had surgery there. No pressure for a deposit. Consultation fee is 5,000 won -Estimated surgery time: I forgot to ask.. -Price: Even with the review event, it was the most expensive -Aftercare: 1-year AS, swelling laser

ㅇㅂㅅ / Director ㅅㅈㅎ -The clinic was big and somehow luxurious. The director’s surgery was delayed, so I waited about 15 minutes -Consultation with the director: The director looked so tiredㅠㅠ But still answered all my questions and was kind Here, they explained in detail, even drawing pictures, about multiple creases, which weren’t mentioned at the other places. They said my eyes are protruding and the skin is thin, so I’m prone to developing multiple creases They said they would use incision to prevent recurrence of the multiple crease and do some kind of... repositioning of the fat under the eyebrow. It was a surgical method I’d never heard of before, but I can’t remember the name;;; (If anyone knows, please comment!!) When I said I wanted to lower the line, they said because I have protruding eyes, even if the line was just a little high it probably looked sausage-like lol They understood how I felt And unlike the clinic above, the method is to release the original double-eyelid adhesion and incise a new line lower down. Personally I like this more. But the fat repositioning is a bit scary They said if I do a little ptosis correction too, my eyes will look clearer -Consultation with the consultant: Very, very kind, and her eyes were really pretty. She said she had revision surgery there. No pressure for a deposit. Consultation fee is 10,000 won, and they said if I have surgery there, they’ll deduct the consultation fee from the payment amount -Estimated surgery time: 1.5 to 2 hours -Price: Expensive, but they’re having an event, so if I do the review event it drops a lot. Still expensive though..^_ㅠ -Aftercare: 1-year AS, for subjective revision surgery (like line height), they only charge an additional fee and operate again, scar-tissue injection, swelling laser

I definitely understand why people say to go for consultations. Honestly, I feel like it would go well even if I chose any of these three places.. but I’m indecisive..^ㅅ^ I’ll visit just a few more places in person and then decide Hope this helped people with cases like mine Please also recommend clinics that are good at natural-looking eyes (I will curse brokers for life)
