It has been 2 weeks since I had under-eye fat repositioning, double-eyelid revision surgery, thread lifting, and facial liposuction at Jeonjeonjeontubi Plastic Surgery, and I had the stitches removed last week. Because my eyes were tearing a lot, I followed the clinic’s instructions and often wiped away eye discharge and tears with a cotton swab moistened with saline. After the stitches were removed, I definitely feel like these symptoms have lessened.
Other people say it feels refreshing when the stitches are removed, and I think I understand why. My eyes feel lighter. The bruising under the outer sides of both eyes from the under-eye fat repositioning is still there.
The jawline fat-dissolving injection + thread lifting has made smiling better than at first, but it still hurts along the jawline, and when I smile, my face pulls quite a lot, so it feels unnatural.
Still, after removing the double-eyelid surgery stitches, my eyes look less swollen. The bruising around my jaw has faded a little, but it is still bluish and painful.
Now that the stitches are removed, I can wash my face, and it feels somehow lighter. There is still a lot of eye swelling left, but I believe it will go down.
