I had double eyelid surgery with partial incision only 11 years ago, and the line was asymmetrical and looked sausage-like, so I was always stressed whenever I took photosㅠㅠ So I started narrowing down hospitals for a revision surgery, but since I live outside the city I could not visit many places, so I decided to visit just two hospitals first. I also had concerns about my double chin and my peanut-shaped face, so I consulted about those too.
ㅌㅇㅅ - Dr. ㅇㅅㅊ (consultation fee 10,000 won) Coordinator-doctor-coordinator system When I went, the wait was not long, about 15-20 minutes? so it was bearable. The consultation coordinator was very kind, which I liked. Dr. ㅇㅅㅊ only explained exactly what was necessary, and was the type to say clearly, “this is possible, this is not.” He recommended incision + eye correction. For the double chin, he said liposuction would do. For the peanut-shaped face, he said filling it with full-face fat grafting would greatly improve the facial line. Overall, he listened well to the direction I wanted, and I liked how clearly he spoke. There was no pressure to book after the consultation, and I thought the price was fairly reasonable too (just over 5 million won).
ㅍㄹㅇㅂ - Dr. ㅇㅈㅇ (no consultation fee) Like ㅌㅇㅅ, it was the coordinator-doctor-coordinator system. I had the consultation with the coordinator right away with no waiting, but it took quite a long time to see the doctor (surgery + the person ahead of me). I waited more than an hour. Dr. ㅇㅈㅇ was kind, but seemed a bit rushed. He recommended incision + eye correction for the eyes, and when I said I wanted an in-out line, he said that if I were to do it, I would need a slight epicanthoplasty, but that it did not seem necessary to do epicanthoplasty just for that. For the double chin, he said the skin layer was thick so I would not see a big effect, and recommended thread lifting. I had tried thread lifting before and it had no effect, so I was going to get liposuction, but he said I should rather get lifting, which felt a bit off..ㅋㅋ For the sunken areas of the face, he recommended full-face fat grafting. Overall, the consultation was just so-so. I felt like it was not really the direction I wanted. At the end, when I was talking with the consultation coordinator, I could feel that they were steering me toward making a reservation, which I did not like. I knew the price was on the higher side, but it was really expensive. (Even with same-day reservation discount, it was just over 6 million won.)
