Review of ptosis correction, incisional double eyelid surgery, and dual canthoplasty

After <photo looking slightly downward> After After Before <before double eyelid surgery!> All the photos are from 6 weeks after surgery

They’re completely bare-faced eye photos, so I’m a little embarrassedㅠ

I had incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and dual canthoplasty, and because I wanted it to look natural no matter what!!! rather than a dramatic style, I set the line quite low!

Actually, I wanted the non-incisional buried-suture method, but except for 1 of the hospitals I went to for consultations, they all said I needed an incision, so I had no choice but to do the incisional method...

In the photo it’s probably the left side, but from my perspective, my right eye has a bit more swelling

It was like this immediately after surgery too, and it’s still like that When I asked the doctor what to do about it, they said with incisional surgery, we need to keep watching it longerㅋㅋㅋㅋ

They said that if the swelling doesn’t go down even after time passes, they’ll operate again to make it thinner, but lying still during surgery was so hard that I really hope the swelling keeps going downㅠㅠㅠ

The small comfort is that when I looked around in this community, people especially said that with the incisional method, time really is the medicine!! So I’m going to try to wait patientlyㅋㅋㅋ

My right eye has severe allergies, so I keep scratching it, and I feel like that might be why the swelling isn’t going down more...

Right now I’m trying not to open my eyes using my forehead... But this is really hard..... Maybe it’s because I’ve opened my eyes with forehead strength my whole life....

If there’s anything you’re curious about, ask me! I’ll do my best to explain!
