Overall, I do not recommend it. My arms are made of fat with no muscle, and from the consultation they said I could get bony arms. I had pain like muscle soreness when doing upper-body exercise, but no swelling. I took the bandages off at 6 a.m., and nothing changed at all. The loose flesh on top, the side bulge, and the wing-like fat were all still there. I went back to the hospital and had a consultation with the director, who said all the fat had already been removed. When I mentioned the bulge on the back of my arms, they said it takes time for the loose skin to adhere because the skin has sagged. I asked, 'Wasn't this supposed to make my arms straight and bony? Isn't this obviously still skin?' and they said it was still because of the fluid and swelling, so I should wait and see. I asked whether the back bulge could really stay like that and still become straight, and they said they could not give me a definite answer and then walked out. The coordinator came in and said there was still swelling around the elbows and the bruising had not gone away. When I said the reason I chose this hospital after researching was because they said they could make bony, straight arms, the coordinator asked when the director had ever said they would make only bony arms. When I said, 'Did not you say during the consultation that the director was famous for bony arms?' they said to wait until three months, and that revision surgery would be possible after four months. When I asked whether a different director could do the revision, they said that even then the original director would have to agree and the schedule would have to work out. In the end, they said all the fat that could be removed had already been removed, but there was still swelling, and because the skin had sagged from the start, it was all just loose skin, so it would take time to adhere, and if I wanted it to lift all the way up, it would have to be cut away. ^^ They said they would do a touch-up first, so I will watch the progress and plan to get a touch-up from another director....
