It’s just kind of... heavy? What do you even call this feeling, seriously lolololololol When I first got double eyelid surgery... it didn’t really feel like surgery to me. More like treatment? I took it lightly... I also wonder if things would be different now if this kind of community had existed back then lol It was fairly famous in my area, and it went terribly wrong. I didn’t know at the time that there aren’t that many doctors who are good at ptosis correction, and I didn’t know the side effects could be severe. As expected, they wouldn’t admit anything went wrong and said it was because of my swelling, so I just lived like that.
After that, I found this community and went to Seoul for revision surgery too, but you know how there are still parts that feel disappointing. Honestly, they gave me human-looking eyes... When I look at old photos, I really became a different person. The biggest thing is my facial expression when looking at the camera and the fact that when I talk to people, I don’t avoid the other person’s eyes. Even so, I still wanted eyes that were thin like other people’s, and even if both sides weren’t perfect, I wanted them to match about 97%... I wanted eyes like that so badly.
So I got AS. The director also said it was possible if I wanted it, and that area had already been quite stressful for me even before the surgery... The swelling is still going down, but maybe because I’ve had so many revision surgeries, I can roughly tell. The eyes I wanted were really greed, and this level is the best I can get lololol Unless I’m born again, I can’t go all the way back to my original eyes from before plastic surgery, and that’s just how it is... Those were probably the most natural eyes, in reality.
When other people posted about having uneven eyes and wondering about revision surgery, I honestly felt it wasn’t worth taking the risk and even left comments saying that, but once it became my own situation, I got sensitive again. In the end, this AS didn’t fail, and as expected, I didn’t get the eyes I wanted, but it does seem like some parts improved. Rather than living while constantly being bothered by it, I think getting AS was the right choice... Honestly, if it still looks strange even after the swelling goes down, I’m just going to live like this lolololololol There’s no point in being greedy; it’ll only damage my eyelid skin, so I should just live being satisfied that they gave me human-looking eyes.
