I never thought I’d end up writing here, but my arms were originally bulging and it stressed me out. Then I suddenly got fixated on liposuction, booked a consultation within two days, and even reserved the surgery date right away. That person is me.. I’m a J, but once I get hooked on something, I have to do it immediately. I’m someone who even screams when getting ordinary injections, so I’m honestly proud of myself for getting liposuction, and I just wish one month would hurry up and passㅠ
First of all, I think it’s best to just do the surgery right away once you’ve made up your mind. I live outside the area, so after work on Sunday I went to Daejeon, slept there, and arrived for surgery at 9 a.m. the next day, but I was the only one there. When you go up to the operating room, the recovery room is there too. I listened to the explanation, changed clothes, they took photos with my phone, I met the doctor and had the design marked, waited a bit, then went into the operating room. The whole situation was just funny, so I wasn’t nervous and kept cracking upㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I even said sorry for laughing too muchㅠ but what can I do if it’s funny I was going to go with a guardian, but they said many people come alone and it’s hard for guardians to wait too, so I came with a friend the day before, slept there, and told them to come in time for my discharge. When I went into the operating room, they put an IV in my foot, and when I stood on a towel with my arms and legs spread out, they applied brown disinfectant? all over my body. This was seriously humiliating but funnyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ They also blocked and tied my hands so I couldn’t use them, I got on the operating table, they put an oxygen mask on me, the director came in, and when they said the medicine was going in, I could feel it and my mind got hazy. When I opened my eyes, I don’t remember the recovery room well. My mind was really foggy and I was so cold, so that time was hard. I wanted to speak and walk properly, but I couldn’tㅠㅠ Even when I went to the bathroom, I had to call the nurse and go with her, and because I was on IV fluids, I kept going to the bathroomㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅠ There wasn’t really pain, but the anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, so my sensation was dull and it was uncomfortable to move. The doctor came and checked one more time whether anything hurt before leaving. They said they’d prepare porridge and juice, but I just wanted to sleep, so I kept sleeping. I woke up, went to the bathroom, slept again, and then thought I should come to my senses, so I asked them to prepare porridge, but I even fell asleep while eating. So they told me to sleep a bit more, and after sleeping and waking up, I walked and walked. After sleeping a bit, I felt better and tried to come to my senses, and from then on I wanted to go home. I told my friend to come now, and they took photos with my phone one more time. Originally I was going to take a taxi from Daejeon to my home, but I thought I’d be okay taking the bus, so I took the bus. I was still hazy on the bus and passed out asleep. I live alone, but I thought it would be hard by myself, so I decided to stay at my friend’s place for a while. It’s a secret from my parents, so to pretend nothing was wrong by myself, I tried to do most things on my own. I changed clothes slowly, but I did it little by little, ordered mala xiang guo with my friend for dinner, even ate the donuts I bought in Daejeon properly, brushed my teeth well, took my medicine, and passed out asleep. I think I woke up more than ten times while sleeping because it was uncomfortable.
On the second day, the pain is worse than yesterday. The muscle soreness is insane, like I got beaten up really badly. Still, I can eat, brush my teeth, wash my face, and do most things on my own. I’m eating so well. I need to lose weight after liposuction, but I’m eating like crazy. There’s a little pain here and there, but I can endure it. It’s tolerable. Oh, the swelling started a bit yesterday. Because of the compression garment, from my hands to just below my elbows is really swollenㅠ Today I also took a walk, and since I have to go to work tomorrow, I went to a hair salon to get my hair washed. I still can’t raise my arms up to my chest, but I think in a few days I’ll be able to move them pretty well. I have to start disinfecting from tomorrow, and I’m worried about thatㅠㅠ I’m worried about taking off and putting on the compression garment. My friend is no help. I should’ve just gone to my own place. Of all times, my period started on day 2 after surgery. I’m annoyed. So I guess that’s why I ate so much before and after surgeryㅠㅠ On surgery day, I went in 2 kg heavier than at the consultation. I’m really dramatic about pain, and even my mom and dad call me a baby, and I really hate being in pain, but it’s better than I expected. It’s not exact yet because of the swelling, but seeing my arms become thinner makes me happy, and I think I did well getting it done. I’m going to try really hard not to get caught by my mom and dad. Oh, I’m not sure about bruising yet because I haven’t taken off the compression garment, but I can only see it on the inner side of my chest. The elbow area is so itchy tooㅠㅠㅠ They also told me to massage, but it hurts, so I can’t really do it well. I want one week, two weeks, and then one month to pass quickly so I can take off the compression garment, uhehe
+The staff are very kind, seriously. The hospital also has an app, and when I went for the consultation, it felt very systematic, so I canceled the next hospital consultation right away and made a reservation even though it was my first consultation. There were many posts saying you should go to at least 5 consultations, but since I live outside Seoul, it’s hard to go to Seoul or far away, and considering aftercare, I preferred somewhere I could drive to and from quickly. Since I only went to one place, I don’t know whether it’s on the expensive side. Looking at other posts, people say Number Hospital is on the pricey side. I didn’t want completely bony arms! I wanted them to remove fat safely and beautifully in a way that suited my body, and I think the hospital matched me well. I wrote down a list of consultation questions, took notes on everything the consultant said, and asked everything I was curious about. The consultant did somewhat recommend other areas and push the deposit, but I went in planning to do it anyway as long as it fit my budget, so I don’t regret it. It’s only day 2, so I’ll upload photos after a bit more time passes!!
