They told me to pluck them whenever the eyelashes grew, so I was plucking them every day like pulling chicken feathersㅠ I went to the hospital for LASIK surgery, but after the eye exam, they said my corneas had a lot of scratches and recommended eyelash surgery. I thought the timing before getting a job would be right, so I had the surgery. My criteria for choosing a hospital were a "plastic surgery clinic" where "insurance coverage" was available. I felt that if I had the surgery at an ophthalmology clinic, the scar or eye shape might change a lot, so even if it cost more, I wanted to do it at a plastic surgery clinic. Also, because it was for treatment purposes, I looked for a place where insurance coverage was available and ended up choosing this hospital. Before visiting, I called to ask whether insurance coverage was possible, and they said most people do receive insurance coverage, but for the exact answer I should check with my insurance company, so I checked with the insurer. The insurance company also said they could confirm once I submitted a claim after surgery, so I went ahead with it. I wanted to get it over with quickly and recover fast, so I had same-day surgery on the day of my consultation (Saturday). I had asked about this in advance too, and they told me to keep fasting, so after waking up I didn’t eat anything and had surgery right after the consultation. It was my first cosmetic surgery, so I asked to consult about other things too, but since my parents were paying, I only had the entropion surgery. I was nervous because it was my first surgery, but the hospital staff were kind and the doctor answered my questions well, so I felt reassured. <Surgery Day 1> You go home with gauze attached. After surgery, I went home and frequently applied warm/cold compresses and ointment, and I was supposed to send progress photos by KakaoTalk. It was nice that I could communicate any questions I had then. Is it because of swelling? Anyway, for quick recovery, you basically have to sleep sitting up ㅠㅠ And you have to be careful not to touch your eyes out of habit! <Surgery Day 3> After surgery on Saturday, I visited the hospital on Monday for simple treatment and a checkup, and it felt very refreshing when they removed the gauze attached to my face. <Surgery Day 8> Exactly one week after surgery, I had the stitches removed. Still, I had to apply wound ointment at home morning and evening, but if this ointment gets into the eyes, it stings a lot, so I don’t end up applying it very well..ㅠ.ㅠ. Now that it has been a month, I apply it occasionally. <Insurance Coverage> I paid about 420,000 won in total, and after submitting the claim, the insurance company deposited 200,000 won. You can request the required documents from the hospital, but because you may be out of it from sedation anesthesia on the day of surgery, it is better to ask your companion to handle it...!
