Phew, today I finally had 3-part facial contouring done in the morning I went under anesthesia around 11:30, and started coming to around 4:30 p.m. In the hospital room, my jaw and headache were seriously soooo bad (my throat was bearable), so I wrote in my iPhone Notes app asking the nurse to please give me pain control In the middle of that, I wrote down all the painkillers I’m allergic to in Notes too lololol Amazing of me to write that I wanted the specific injectable medication, pfft (for reference, I’m also a healthcare worker) 4:30-5:30 It hurts soooo much (my jaw and migraine are insane) I kept telling myself inside, let’s get through this, I can do it (self-hypnosis) 5:30-6:30 It hurts, but it’s better than before. Still hurts though Director Kwon came in person and explained the surgery 7:00 Water arrived lolol But people said seeing water would make me happy enough to die, but strangely it was just so-so lololol The person who gave the Daiso sauce-bottle tip is an angel Around the time I drank water, I spat out bloody phlegm once or twice and started gently swallowing saliva too My throat gradually got more comfortable Maybe because of the pain-control pump, it hurts less, or maybe because they kept giving me strong painkillers, but my recovery is crazy It’s 10:30 p.m. now, and aside from my face feeling heavier than my body weight, it’s manageable (Not saying it doesn’t hurt - just that it’s not as painful as the reviews that made me regret putting down the surgery deposit (thank you, pain control)) But this swelling lolololol It’s so ridiculous I’m not even looking in the mirror lol If it’s like this today, by day 3 or 4 after surgery, around Sunday, my face might burst like a balloon ... Right now, except for the swelling, it’s a bearable night I want to be discharged quickly I want the blood drain and urinary catheter removed I’ll leave a review every day Everyone scheduled for facial contouring, hang in there!!!
