Even with makeup, only the dark circles were covered; the protruding under-eye fat didn’t get covered at all. And if I didn’t wear makeup, I always looked tired and hollow-eyed, so it stressed me out so much. As I got older, it seemed to get worse and worse, and every time I looked in the mirror my confidence dropped and I felt down, so I finally decided to have surgery. I was really scared, but before the surgery, the director reassured me and even joked around with me, so I think that helped me relax a bit. It took less time than I expected, and even after I came out, it barely hurt, to the point where I wasn’t sure if it hurt or not. Since it was done through an internal incision, there are no scars, and they said I didn’t need to have stitches removed separately, so when I went back to the clinic later, they just checked my progress and I only received aftercare. The swelling started going down quickly from the second week, and by one month, my under-eye area had become so smooth that you couldn’t even tell I had surgery. Before the surgery, I often thought I somehow looked stubborn and like someone who wouldn’t listen or communicate well, but now I look softer, and after always being told I looked older, I finally feel like I look my age. It was something that stressed me out so much, but it disappeared without a trace, so I’m really happy.
