It’s already been 3 months since I had my first rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage, so I’m leaving an update. I was satisfied when I posted my 1-month review too, but now it’s honestly gotten even better. Once all the swelling went down, the line came out much more defined. I went with a straight-to-slightly-curved line, and it looks natural while definitely making my nose stand out. From the side, the nasal bridge line is shaped really beautifully. Now my whole face looks more three-dimensional, and I really like that my face feels enhanced just from my nose. The feel to the touch is completely natural too, and even when I touch it, it feels like my own nose. Maybe because it’s autologous costal cartilage, there’s no foreign-body sensation at all, and the scar at the rib cartilage harvest site is barely visible. Now it’s exactly the refined yet natural straight-to-slightly-curved nose line I wanted.
