Day of surgery~week 1 -Up to day 3, the swelling was pretty noticeable... enough that I was conscious of people looking at me? After living my whole life with sunken cheeks, suddenly having a full face felt awkward even to me;;; -By week 1, the swelling visibly went down a lot I think my satisfaction started gradually going up from then
Week 2 From this point on, I really didn’t care about the swelling at all lol There was some subtle swelling only I could notice, but.. people around me couldn’t tell! And because I didn’t want too much fat added so that my face looked overly full, I asked the director to make it look natural
First, to describe the features of my face shape before surgery: -Born skinny -No facial fat -My face was on the long side, so I heard nicknames like cucumber a lot.. -Since I had no facial fat, my face naturally looked bony
This really stressed me out so much...ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ So I tried to gain weight on purpose, but it wouldn’t go to my face and only went to my belly or thighs, so I gave up..... I thought about getting a procedure to fill in the areas that looked sunken in my cheeks, but the longevity didn’t seem very long, and thinking that some other foreign substance? or whatever you’d call it would remain in my face made me feel really uneasy... Also, looking at friends around me who had procedures done, it didn’t really look pretty either..... It looked too unnatural...
Because of these reasons, I changed direction to facial fat grafting and looked into it The area that stressed me out the most was my cheeks, but honestly, overall I had no volume anywhere, so my face needed full-face grafting ㅠㅠㅠㅜ So whenever I went for consultations, I always said first that I wanted full-face grafting, and every hospital did diagnose me for full-face grafting
But the place where I had the surgery was different..... Only this place said no to full-face grafting and said the chin tip must definitely be excluded? From the director’s perspective, the lateral cheeks, forehead, and front cheeks were the most important, and they said that if fat was added all the way to the chin tip, my face would actually look longer Since I was usually sensitive about the cucumber nickname;;; I think this consultation really resonated with me...
It made me feel like, even so, this isn’t a place that just accepts everything exactly as I say I want it It strongly felt like they were giving me a real “diagnosis”!
After getting facial fat grafting, people said that even if they didn’t know what I had done, my face looked better hehe I look more lively, my face looks better, I got prettier After surgery, I’ve been hearing only things like this… hehe
So I’m satisfied, but since results differ from person to person, if someone else is looking into it, I’d want to tell them to carefully go around for consultations and decide!
