Bulbous nose + droopy-tip nose, I got closed rhinoplasty at a clinic lololol

A lot of people get nose surgery these days, right? But I really wanted to do it with a closed approach, so I did tons of online and in-person research and finally got the surgery done! My nose wasn’t extremely ugly, but it definitely wasn’t a pretty nose either.... no no My nasal bridge was low and my nasal tip was round, so from the front it looked way too much like a bulbous nose... But when you do open rhinoplasty, I felt like I’d be so, so bothered by the columella scar..... I already worry a lot by nature, so if I got nose surgery, I’d probably spend every day worrying about the shape, and if I got a columella scar too, I thought I’d struggle emotionally even more. I also heard that for noses, the less open surgery you do, the better, so I got it done closed. You can tell from the photos, but even though it was closed rhinoplasty, doesn’t the shape look really well made? lololol Honestly, I wanted to use only septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the materials if possible, but when I went for the consultation at the clinic, they said that would be difficult too They said after taking a CT, my septal cartilage was too small.... But at other places, they didn’t even look at a CT and just said, “Sure, do it that way,” while here Director Oh Seung-il even checked the size and explained it to me, so I trusted them lololol If it hadn’t been for that, I’d probably still be wandering around and unable to get my nose surgery I didn’t bring separate reference photos for the nose shape; all we did was match it while doing virtual simulation with the director!! lololol I also debated whether to put silicone in or not, but for my nose, even putting in a thin layer of silicone definitely looked prettier. I don’t know if it was because of the silicone, but after surgery I got bruising under my eyes and moving my facial muscles?? felt awkward, so I wondered if I’d done it for nothing, but whenever I looked at the nose shape, I liked it again, so everything was okay hehe lololol The bruising did go away quickly too! Actually, what I like most is the shape of the nasal tip Since the round tip changed to a slimmer one, the bulbous-nose feeling is definitely gone lolol When I was doing in-person research, I chose based on cost + nasal materials + shape + the director’s style, and since it turned out well, I’m so proud. The donated costal cartilage doesn’t feel like a foreign body and there’s no discomfort??? I don’t think you necessarily have to use autologous costal cartilage. My nasal tip was corrected nicely and stands up well too lololol The feeling when moving my philtrum is still awkward, but since I got a nose, I’m accepting this level of discomfort!! lolol I hope everyone looks into it carefully and succeeds with nose surgery~ If there’s something you want, make sure to protect that when you get surgery!
