My friend’s result turned out well, so during winter break in my senior year of high school, before starting college, I had my first double eyelid surgery. It was a clinic mainly visited by middle-aged women, and without any detailed professional consultation, they just noted that my skin was thick and that I had ptosis, then handled it on their own. They had told me not to get canthoplasty, so I only had an incisional double eyelid procedure. The swelling didn’t last long and it turned out natural, so I was satisfied, but the asymmetry was really severe, and it came undone, so the ending was that I got double eyelid surgery again.. Also, when I had the surgery, I was still in high school and had acne, and they made unnecessary comments like telling me to just go to a dermatologist, which made me feel bad. Thinking about it now, it was ridiculous.
