Facial Contouring Surgery

It’s been one month since I had the 3 facial contouring procedures (cheekbones, square jaw, and chin) at Y Oral and Maxillofacial! Until then, I had been living with Botox and fillers for years, not to mention eye and nose procedures. But no matter how much I filled or shaved things down, the fundamental impression didn’t change.ㅠㅠ It felt like I was always stuck in the same place? Then a friend hit me with a harsh truth: “Your problem isn’t your features, it’s your facial contour.” Like…?;;; The moment I heard that, it felt like I’d been hit on the head. Honestly, I had been avoiding it because bone surgery sounded scary, but this time I decided to do it properly and went for a consultation at the hospital my friend recommendedㅜㅜ After that, every time I looked in the mirror, I kept noticing my long and wide face shape..ㅋ;; That made my impression look even more masculine; So during the consultation, the first thing I said to Director Lee Seok-jae was that I didn’t need anything else and just wanted a soft, smooth line..ㅋㅋㅋ Honestly, I even went in thinking about double jaw surgery, but the director firmly told me I didn’t need double jaw surgery at all. Just like the rumors said, he really gave it to me straight, with a tsundere kind of vibe..ㅋㅋ Seeing him point out only the 3 contouring procedures I actually needed, without overtreatment, actually made me trust him right away! You only live once, so live doing what you want! With that thought, I booked the surgery date right away. And on the day of surgery, my hands were shaking as I signed the consent form. I wanted to run away(?), but I held it together and got on the operating tableㅎㅎ The night in the hospital room right after surgery was... honestly not easy. The process of waking up from anesthesia was hard, and they told me I shouldn’t fall asleep, so I stayed alert all night. Especially because I’m sensitive to medication, my stomach kept feeling nauseous and I vomited a lot, but thanks to the nurses who cared for me by my side all night, I got through it safely. (I was truly grateful then!) Recovery process: Week 1: Cheekbone stitches removed! From this point, I could feel my face gradually getting lighter. Week 2: Even the intraoral stitches were all cleared! As the major swelling went down, the contour line that had been hidden finally started to appear. Current satisfaction at 1 month: There’s still some minor swelling left, but my friends’ reactions are funny ㅋㅋㅋ They’re saying things like, “What happened to your face shape;;” and that I look much cuter now that my chin is shorter ㅋㅋ Every time I hear that, my cheekbones are practically ascendingㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Every time I look in the mirror, the masculine impression is nowhere to be found, and my lines have become gentle and soft, so I’m really happyㅎㅎㅎ I definitely think it’s important to know exactly what the real problem with your face is, instead of spending time and money on random procedures to become prettierㅜㅜ Don’t take the long way around like I did, and I really recommend starting with a proper consultation!
