Review of getting functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty at GNG for severe nasal congestion

Because of rhinitis, my nasal congestion was severe, so I blew my nose often, and maybe because it got deformed, my nose started to look crooked. Since the nose is in the center of the face, having it crooked made my asymmetry look worse for no reason, and I didn’t like that my nasal tip was drooping, so I looked into rhinoplasty lol I guess a lot of men who want both functional and cosmetic improvement like me get surgery at GNG? When I looked into the hospital, the building was big, and since it’s an ENT hospital, they said private insurance reimbursement was possible too, so I thought it was killing two birds with one stone and booked a consultation right away~ After the consultation, I liked that it definitely felt professional, and when I saw the CT scan, my nasal septum was deviated to the side lol The director said that because of this, the nasal valve on one side of my nose had narrowed, so it must have been really hard to breathe.. He said if I had nasal valve reconstruction + deviated septum surgery, I’d be able to breathe through my nose, so I shouldn’t worry, and that reassured me. For the cosmetic part, he recommended smoothing out the hump and filling the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage and the nasal bridge with septal cartilage, saying the line would look smooth and masculine. My original nose was a crooked nose + bulbous nose + deviated septum, so other hospitals had also said it was a difficult case. But the director here diagnosed it professionally and well, so now breathing through my nose is so comfortable, and I’m happy with how it looks too lol I guess for men, it really is the nose.. Now that my nasal bridge and nasal tip line are clean, my impression looks much better, and people around me are asking if I’m dating because my face looks better these days. Maybe because GNG is an ENT hospital that looks at the nose professionally, it was nice that they could address both function + appearance~ I’m living very satisfied, and if you’re deliberating like I was, definitely get a consultation.
