3-month contouring surgery review It’s already been 3 months since I had surgery with Director Oh Jungseok at Yungwak’s Standard. Time really flies! Up until months 1–2, there was still quite a bit of swelling, so I kept thinking, “When will it go down?” But around 3 months, my facial contour definitely started settling in naturally.
First, as for swelling, most of the major swelling is almost gone, and it feels like only slight puffiness in the morning remains. In particular, my jawline has become much softer, and I can definitely feel that my face looks smaller from the front. People around me also often say, “Something looks different, but it looks natural,” so I feel good haha
My sensation has all returned, so there is absolutely nothing abnormal! I was worried because I heard sensory abnormalities can be a side effect of surgery, but maybe because the doctor is very skilled, all of my sensation has returned just like before surgery!
I can eat almost everything now. I’m eating hard foods too, while being careful, and there’s no major discomfort. However, if I chew for a long time, my jaw feels a little tired, so I’m trying not to overdo it!
There are no externally visible scars, and the incision sites inside my mouth have recovered to the point where I barely notice them!
Overall, it feels like “there is still swelling under my chin, but my face has definitely become slimmer.” It hasn’t fully settled yet, so I’ll need to wait a bit longer, but I’m already satisfied enough with the current state. I’m also looking forward to the swelling going down more and the line becoming more refined.
If you’re considering contouring surgery, I think the most important thing is not to get impatient because of the initial swelling. Maybe because of the liposuction, the swelling around my chin fat still hasn’t gone down completely, so I’m a little disappointed, but I think it will go down if I give it time and wait! You have to wait at least 6 months and see. So far, I’m satisfied!
