Hello :) I’m leaving a 3-month review of 3-way posterior canthoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic! I had lived with a stuffy-looking eye shape into my 60s. My eyes themselves were not particularly small, but because the outer corners felt closed off, my eyes looked short and my impression looked stuffy, which bothered me. Especially when I smiled, they looked even more stuffy, so it was stressfulㅠㅠ At my daughter’s recommendation, I was introduced to a well-known plastic surgery clinic in Seoul, even though I live outside the capital area, and ended up having surgery there.
How it felt right after surgery After the surgery, the pain was not as bad as I expected, and my eyes just felt a little stiff and stinging. There was swelling, but almost no bruising.
Progress - Week 1: Swelling was at its peak + I felt pulling at the outer corners of my eyes - Week 2: As the swelling went down, the line started to show - Month 1: It became more natural, and I started to feel the change
Month 3 (current condition) Now all the swelling has gone down, and everything has settled stably, so it looks very natural! The outer corners of my eyes definitely look more opened, making my eyes look longer, and my overall impression has become much softer. Everyone says my impression has changed, but it looks naturally prettier to the point that they cannot tell what I had done.
What I liked most - The change was natural, without being excessive - My eyes look more open and the stuffiness is gone - The angle of the outer corners of my eyes feels like it has gently lowered
Personal review At first, I worried, “What if it closes back up?” but the clinic was a place where I did not need to worry about that, so I felt reassured going into surgery, and I am still very satisfied now.
I attached before/after photos together, so please use them as reference. I hope this helps those who are considering it! I had it done even at an older age too, so do not worry and give it a try!
