Review of ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery (week 29)Hello! Today, I’m going to leave a review of my condition 29 weeks after receiving ptosis correction and incisional double eyelid surgery. I’ll write honestly, hoping it helps those who are curious about the condition after enough time has passed 😊Actually, this was my fourth surgery. The reason I first had surgery was because my eyelashes kept poking my eyes, and I had double eyelid surgery at another hospital when I was young, but over time the line came undone and my upper eyelid became sunken, making the eye hollow look more prominent. Maybe because of that, it gradually became harder to open my eyes, and my impression always looked tired.Makeup was always awkward too. If I made it even a little dark, my eyes looked too intense, but if I didn’t wear it, they looked too faint, so it was stressful every time I went out. Since it was revision surgery, I really researched hospitals carefully this time, and while comparing several places, I found Director Lee Jun-hee at Gangnam Really Plastic Surgery.During the consultation, what I liked most was that he examined the condition of my eyes very thoroughly. He accurately explained the problem areas caused by my previous surgeries, and instead of pushing an excessive design, he consulted with me in the direction of creating comfortable and natural-looking eyes, so I trusted him. After the consultation, I thought, “Ah, I can trust this place and leave it to them,” and the hospital atmosphere was clean and the staff were kind, so overall it felt comfortable 😊The first thing I felt right after surgery was that opening my eyes became really comfortable. In the past, I had to use a lot of effort to open my eyes, but that discomfort was definitely reduced. The swelling and pain were also much less than I expected, so my worries about recovery decreased a lot.I was also able to receive swelling-care laser treatments for free, and with each session I could feel the swelling noticeably going down. Each time I received care, my eyes felt much softer, so personally I was very satisfied.I’m currently 29 weeks post-op, and now I feel even more certain that the line has completely settled. There is almost no residual swelling, and I no longer have to worry about swelling every morning. Even when I smile or make facial expressions, my eyes move naturally, and I don’t feel any awkwardness at all.People around me don’t know I had surgery and often tell me, “Your eyes look clearer,” and “Your impression looks much more relaxed,” so I’m even more satisfied. Since it was revision surgery, I worried a lot about scarring, but now it doesn’t show at all with makeup, and even with a bare face, it’s only noticeable if someone looks closely.Above all, the biggest change is that my eyes have become really comfortable. Even when I’m active for long periods, my eyes don’t get tired easily, and daily life has become much more comfortable.Even after surgery, Director Lee Jun-hee checked my progress thoroughly, which made me feel really reassured. He regularly checked my condition, and I was able to receive aftercare without any burden, so I think the recovery process was much more stable. Since I had many worries because it was revision surgery, looking at the results now, I really feel it was the right choice. From consultation to surgery and aftercare, they took care of everything in detail, so my satisfaction is really high. I’d like to recommend Director Lee Jun-hee at Gangnam Really Plastic Surgery to those who experienced discomfort from previous surgery or want natural and comfortable-looking eyes. Now that 29 weeks have passed, I’m really satisfied with the results! 😄
