Eye Surgery Reviews

I had revision surgery because my double-eyelid line got thinner

The reason I started looking into revision surgery was that my first double-eyelid line became thinner over time and felt like it had slightly loosened. There were some style differences depending on the clinic, and some places created a more dramatic line, but I felt anything too excessive would be burdensome, so I looked for a naturally defined look. I went to consultations at several places and compared a lot how they designed the line. The line they designed at Dress was closest to my preference, so I decided to go with this clinic. The consultation itself was fine, and it didn’t feel like they were pushing various additional procedures. For the surgery, I had revision natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery together with an upper epicanthoplasty. I also considered medial epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, but they said that for my current eye condition, just an upper epicanthoplasty would be enough, so that’s what I did. There was naturally swelling right after the surgery and in the early stage, and especially up to week 1, the line looked thick, so it felt a bit awkward. The bruising wasn’t severe, but it wasn’t completely absent either. Now a lot of the swelling has gone down, and as the line has settled, it definitely looks more defined than before. It still doesn’t feel like the completely final result, so I think I need to keep watching it, but so far it is definitely better than before, so I’m fairly satisfied.
