In my mid-20s, while attending graduate school, I was bothered by my nose looking low and my nostrils showing, so I had rhinoplasty and bulbous nose correction together at ID Hospital. They used costal cartilage to raise the overall height and proceeded in the direction of creating a straight-line profile. Director Hwang Se Hwi explained the line while designing it to match my facial proportions based on the Jinsunko standard, so it was easy to understand, and I also felt reassured that they checked the structure with 3D-CT before surgery. After the surgery, I think I’m most satisfied when taking photos. I don’t have to worry about the angle like before, and the line looks clean from the front, so it’s more comfortable. I’m satisfied because it feels like my image has naturally become more refined.
