Implant-free nasal bridge surgery with ear cartilage

About a year ago, I had implant-free surgery where ear cartilage was placed in my nasal bridge. I waited because I thought it would be absorbed once the swelling went down, but even after a year, the area where the ear cartilage was placed in my nasal bridge is protruding like a hump, and it’s stressing me out so much. I went to the hospital where I had it done and asked if it was normal for it to protrude like this, and they said they would shave it down through a closed incision. Is it right to do that?? It’s free, cost-wise. Has anyone had a case like mine? They said there aren’t many cases where ear cartilage is placed in the nasal bridge.. Ha, I regret it so much, I should have just used autologous costal cartilage. If they’re only shaving it down, would it be simple..
