Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

I went for a consultation because I’m thinking of getting functional nose surgery

Ever since I was young, I felt stuffy even when I was breathing. But recently it’s gotten so bad that I can barely breathe, so I started considering surgery and went for a consultation. They said that for the functional surgery, I would need septoplasty, submucosal resection of the inferior turbinate, and nasal valve reconstruction. They also said that if I want, they can insert silicone to raise my nose a bit, and that 3 mm of silicone would be possible. They said that even if I only do the functional part, they would do osteotomy and refine the dorsal hump a bit to make it straight, but if I care a lot about the cosmetic aspect, it would be better to insert silicone. If I don’t care, they said I don’t have to. Since I’m already getting nose surgery, should I just do everything at once? I also have no sense of whether 3 mm of silicone is considered a big increase in height, so I’d appreciate some advice.
