Review 2 Months After Revision Rhinoplasty After 13 Years

13 years ago, I had my first rhinoplasty using silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage. At the time, I was in my early 20s, so I had rhinoplasty without much concern, but as time passed, my nasal line gradually became lower, and from the front view, it looked spread out from the nostril wings to the columella, making my nose look flat overall... Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt more disappointed, so I started considering revision rhinoplasty. While looking into several hospitals, I came across RU Plastic Surgery, and I was impressed that the representative director, Dr. Hyunjoo Kim, personally handles everything from consultation to surgery and postoperative care, and checks progress for up to 6 months. I thought postoperative care was even more important for revision surgery, so I booked a consultation. During the consultation, Dr. Hyunjoo Kim examined the condition of my nose and suggested not simply increasing the height, but rebuilding the collapsed structure and also correcting the pinched nose, correcting the nasolabial angle, and reducing the nostril wings. She accurately pointed out the problems with my nose and explained the direction for improvement in detail, so my anxiety about the surgery was greatly reduced. Now it has been 2 months since the revision surgery, and a lot of the swelling has gone down. It feels like the nose I wanted was placed right onto my face, and the line is exactly what I wanted, so I’m very satisfied! I don’t know how to thank Dr. Hyunjoo Kim at RU Plastic Surgery.. 🥲 When I saw her at my recent follow-up, she said there were no issues and that it looked good!
