15 years ago, I had an L-shaped silicone implant and had no problems. Two and a half months ago, I had silicone for the nasal bridge and donated rib cartilage for the nasal tip, but about 5 weeks after surgery, inflammation developed. I took antibiotics once and it got better, but a week later, a second episode of inflammation came. Since I live in Australia, the situation has become even more complicated. I came to the emergency room today. I had the surgery with Director Guk Kyung-hoon in Seoul, and I was very happy with the shape and everything. I was advised to get IV antibiotics and, for now, to open that area and disinfect it, but the local doctor said we should monitor the progress first and that if the implant is infected, it may need to be removed, so I feel completely lost right now. My nose is naturally very low and flat... Even if I reconstruct it after 7-8 months, I think it will be difficult because the choice of materials will be limited. Would it be okay to do it at the same hospital? Is there a well-known director for cases like this? Please share your thoughts on various aspects. I’m so sad...
