You were shocked when you saw the before photo, right.. That was my nose after I’d had surgery before... lol This time I got revision surgery.. Before the surgery, when I smiled, the shape of my nose stood out even more strangely, so I couldn’t even smile freely. Since it was a revision surgery, I was really worried about the result, but I like it... lol so I’m gathering the courage to post it. So for revision rhinoplasty, I did online research across all kinds of communities without being picky, and from those, I narrowed it down to only a few places with reviews that were at least somewhat similar to my case and went for consultations. I did think about just going everywhere I could, but I felt like the more I did that, the more confused I’d get and the less firm my own standards would become, so I really narrowed down and refined my research list carefully. Maybe because of that, every place I consulted at was at least above average. When I went for a consultation at the place where I ended up having surgery, they showed me cases closest to mine that I hadn’t seen in reviews before, and that was the point that made me feel reassured. They also pinpointed exactly what the cause was, so I thought that if they knew the cause properly, they would probably be able to fix it properly too, so I chose them. As expected, you really should listen to the expert lol. Because I wanted to replace the silicone, but the director said my natural nasal bridge was already high, so there was no need to put silicone in unnecessarily. So I only had the nasal tip done with donated costal cartilage, and I like it because even with just that, it changed naturally without looking artificial. Especially, I think the biggest strength is that it suits my face... People around me have also told me a lot that my overall vibe has become much better. Maybe because it’s a place specializing in revision surgery, it was nice that they had anti-contracture medication and an inflammation-prevention spray prepared too. And I also had functional nasal surgery done at the same time...? I didn’t have indemnity insurance, so I had it done as a non-insured procedure... lol Still, when I told them I didn’t have insurance, they negotiated the cost down a lot (+ they gave me full-face skin Botox as a service). Now I’m in the stable phase, so I haven’t been paying much attention to it, but while organizing my gallery to post this review, I realized it really was serious before the revision surgery... lol
