As I got older, I became concerned about the wrinkles that were gradually increasing, so I had a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic. I went in thinking about a thread lift or a simple procedure, but Director Kim Jong-gyu explained that for my degree of skin sagging, a full-face lift (facelift) would be much more effective, so I decided to have the surgery. The attached photos are, in order, one before surgery and two at 7 weeks after surgery. As the wrinkles on my forehead and neck were lifted, my previously heavy-looking facial contours became smoother and more refined. Once the overall skin sagging improved, the wrinkles that had made me look older also naturally became lighter. I was worried because the surgical area was wide, but the pain was tolerable with painkillers. For about the first week, I rested at home, and after the stitches were removed, there was no major difficulty with daily life. It will take more time for everything to settle completely, but my jawline has become more defined and my overall impression looks younger, so people around me have even asked me which clinic I went to.
