Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Review of Facial Contouring at WANT Plastic Surgery

My face shape was honestly a lifelong source of stress. My lower face was long and my square jaw was quite severe, so whenever I took photos, I always edited them by making the midface and lower face much smaller. In the past, I had my cheekbones, fat grafting, and nose done, but after that, only my lower face stood out even more, and procedures could not fix it, so I eventually decided to do the square jaw reduction and chin as well. Before, I had surgery at a place that felt too much like a factory, and I was dissatisfied with the aftercare, so I went around to consultations here and there. Director Kim Hyunwoo gave me a long, careful consultation, which made me trust him, so I booked surgery at WANT Plastic Surgery right away. (I had square jaw reduction + chin surgery + mini lifting.) When I looked him up, he was from Seoul National University. And Director Kim Hyunwoo’s consultation was definitely the longest and most detailed. It was not the kind of feeling like “we will just make it as small as possible.” He realistically explained how much should be reduced so it would still look natural, and the detailed surgical method for doing facial contouring while addressing sagging, so I think that actually made me trust him more. It felt like he was explaining based exactly on my facial features, rather than in a factory-style way, so I felt this was the place. The consultant also told me I could look around more and think about it slowly, so I felt no pressure and was comfortable. Honestly, right after surgery, the swelling was so severe that I did wonder if this was right, but after controlling salty foods, taking swelling-care items, and letting time pass, the lines in the areas that had stressed me out definitely changed. The bruising did not last extremely long as I had expected. (There may be individual differences.) Also, every time I visited, the director checked on me himself, so I felt reassured. Now that some time has passed since the surgery, my pre-surgery photos actually feel more awkward to me... ^^;;; What I wanted was to make my side profile look slimmer, reduce the wide-looking areas so my face would look smaller than my original face, but without making it too excessive. Maybe because I did the mini lifting together, my skin also feels slightly tightened, so it looks more refined. It is not a completely dramatic “total face-shape transformation” kind of result, but more like the overall lines became softer, cleaner, and more organized?! Maybe that is why my face looks smaller. Anyway.. it was a major surgery, so I was really nervous, but I am still quite satisfied with the recovery and results, more than I expected. Now all my friends who want facial contouring surgery take my photos with them It somehow makes me feel proud.. I thought there might be people in this community who like an oval face shape like mine, so I am leaving this review.
