Two-Month Review After Revision Rhinoplasty Using Autologous Costal Cartilage + Ear Cartilage

It has already been two months since my revision rhinoplasty. My first nose surgery was 10 years ago using septal cartilage, but as time passed, the silicone showing through, red spots, and drooping nasal tip gradually got worse. In the end, I decided to have revision surgery. Even after the surgery, I kept feeling like the nasal tip was dropping slightly, and since the style I wanted from the beginning was more glamorous than natural-glam, I mainly brought photos of foreigners rather than Asians to the consultation. My satisfaction with septal cartilage and ear cartilage was very low during my first surgery, so this time I decided I would absolutely use autologous costal cartilage. The rhinoplasty itself didn’t hurt at all, but… recovering from the autologous costal cartilage harvest was really hard. Personally, I even went to orthopedics two additional times. Still, I have no regrets at all about the nose surgery itself, and actually, even friends around me with very artificial-looking noses started considering revision surgery after seeing my nose. Right now, there is a slight remaining mark on the columella area inside my nose, and I’m not sure whether it’s cartilage showing through or scar tissue, so I’m planning to ask again during my follow-up consultation at Louvre. Other than that, there really isn’t a single part I’m dissatisfied with. Please, I just want to live with this nose for a long time without needing a third surgery.
