70-day review after natural adhesion ptosis correction Uneven eyes... when will this even out? It’s been about 70 days since surgery (done on January 27). I thought quite a bit of time had passed, but every time I look in the mirror, I keep thinking, why are my eyes still uneven..ㅇ
Current condition - One eye opens more clearly - The other side feels like it opens slightly less - In photos, the left-right difference shows more
It doesn’t feel like it was a major failure, but the asymmetry is subtle and keeps bothering me.
At the clinic, I was only told, “Let’s watch it a little longer.” They said it’s usually a settling process up to 3–6 months. I know that’s probably true... but honestly, it’s not easy when you’re the one waiting.
Why uneven eyes can happen (what I looked up) - Difference in eye-opening strength - Adhesion being stronger on only one side - Swelling going down differently on the left and right
They say it’s more common than I thought,
but my honest feelings right now: At first, I brushed it off thinking, “It’s probably swelling,” but since it’s still the same even as time passes, I’m getting more and more anxious...
Is this part of the process of evening out, or is it just settling like this...?
What I’m doing now For now, until 3–4 months, I guess I should watch it a little longer..
Will I need revision surgery? When I search because of the uneven eyes, there are so many posts that make me more anxious
If this is part of the process, I hope that after just a little more time, it naturally evens out..
Please give me some advice..
