Review of Incisional Ptosis Correction, Medial Canthoplasty, Lateral Canthoplasty, and Lower Canthoplasty

It has been over 1 month since I had incisional ptosis correction, medial canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty! I had surgery with Director Kim Jae-yoon at Lowell, and now that I’m at the 1-month mark, first of all, the strength with which I open my eyes has improved. It used to be so weak that opening my eyes with my forehead had become a habit, and my ptosis was severe enough to even give me headaches, but now that my eye-opening strength has improved, it’s comfortable in many ways. Also, my eyes, which used to look subtly stuffy because of the epicanthal folds, have improved. This was something that personally bothered me, so I’m satisfied. I heard that you need to eat well to recover from surgery, so I actually gained weight, but the swelling went down completely, so from week 3 onward, aside from the incision line, there wasn’t much I needed to worry about. After the dual canthoplasty, swelling, bruising, and so on were not that severe! Until the stitches were removed, the swelling did look quite noticeable, but after stitch removal, the swelling went down quickly. From week 4 after the lateral and lower canthoplasty, it seemed to look natural, so there were even people who didn’t know I had surgery, but to my eyes, it looks naturally widened, so I’m satisfied with the surgery!
