Because of rhinitis, I’ve lived with nasal congestion for a long time, so I was looking into functional rhinoplasty. I’m mainly looking at hospitals that can also address the cosmetic side, and I had heard a lot that this place is famous for functional cosmetic rhinoplasty, so I went for a consultation. During the consultation, we first talked about my nasal congestion symptoms, and the director checked the internal structure of my nose and explained which parts were blocked. They said my nasal septum is deviated, which is why I often live with nasal congestion, and that it can be improved with functional surgery. Since I was consulting for functional cosmetic rhinoplasty from the start, they explained that while correcting the functional issues, the nasal tip and line could also be refined. For the cosmetic aspect, they said it would be best to adjust it naturally to suit my facial proportions. The director gave the impression of having long experience with functional cosmetic rhinoplasty, and it didn’t feel like overtreatment. The before-and-after results looked good, so I have a positive impression, but I think rhinoplasty itself needs to be approached carefully, so I plan to get a few more consultations before deciding.
