Breast Surgery 1-Week Review

I’m leaving a review 1 week after surgery!

First, what surprised me the most was that it was really “painless”… I had no pain at all. I was really worried because people usually say it hurts a lot, but I only had a stiff feeling and a slight aching sensation, and even that only lasted until about day 2. After that, I didn’t have much discomfort in daily life, so I think I was really a lucky case.

What was hard instead was the pressure from the compression bra and upper band… It was more uncomfortable than I expected. Even when I used my arms just a little, I felt the muscles around my chest pulling, so I got anxious for no reason and became careful. Still, the consultant said I could take the upper band off for short periods, so when I loosened it for a few hours in between, it became much more bearable.

Overall, it was much less difficult than I expected, and it felt like, “This much is manageable, right?” The hardest part was actually not being able to wash… That was honestly subtly stressful lol

At week 1, I went to the clinic for a progress check, and the director said there was almost no swelling and that it turned out very pretty, so I felt good. I didn’t go particularly large, but I was a bit surprised to receive a 75D bra, and I liked the result too, so I was even more satisfied.

The gauze and bands were all removed then too, and the sense of freedom was real… It was so comfortable and nice. And I also received the capsular care I’d only heard about for the first time, and it felt kind of tingly? It was interesting. I hope they settle into place quickly, the tissue softens up, and they become more supple.
